On Friday June 10th, 2022, in a MABILUS team meeting in the venue of Instituto de Patrimonio Cultural de España (IPCE), at the presence of the heads of IPCE y and Biblioteca Nacional de España, it was set that in the next months, Skylitzes matritensis will enter in the IPCE in order to start the laboratory analysis. It’s a pioneering project that will mark the position of BNE, IPCE and MABILUS project in the most innovative lines of scientific research on Byzantine manuscripts.
